January 28 is Bell Let’s Talk Day. Now more than ever, it’s important to acknowledge our mental health and the needs of those around us. Outdoor physical activity is one way we can contribute positively to our mental and physical health, while connecting with others in a safe, physically distant manner. Although Ontario is under a Stay-at-Home order, outdoor exercise is still allowable. Some of the many benefits of sunlight and exercise include physical health, increased mood, better sleep, improved cognitive processing, and stress reduction. Let’s combat the winter blues by getting outside, being active and soaking up the daylight.
